Dr. Jason Permenter began his academic journey at Stetson University in DeLand, FL, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry. He then continued his education at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO, obtaining his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Throughout his studies, he received multiple awards in recognition of his accomplishments.

Meet Dr. Jason Permenter
Dr. Jason Permenter’s path to chiropractic care began with a personal experience. While playing collegiate baseball at Stetson University—where he earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry—he suffered a broken leg that required prolonged use of crutches. Compensating for the injury led to ongoing back pain, and despite trying muscle relaxers and physical therapy, relief was only temporary.
That experience sparked his interest in chiropractic care and ultimately shaped his professional calling. As he explored different approaches to healthcare, Dr. Permenter was drawn to chiropractic’s focus on function, movement, and addressing the underlying causes of pain rather than simply managing symptoms.
Dr. Permenter earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri, where he also received recognition for academic achievement. Since then, he has remained committed to continued learning to better serve his patients.
Advanced Training & Continuing Education
Dr. Permenter has completed extensive post-graduate education in areas including:

Outside the Office
Dr. Permenter moved to Charlotte in 1999 with his wife, Amy. They enjoy spending time with their son, Andrew, and their Jack Russell Terrier, Scout. Outside of work, you’ll often find them hiking, camping, boating, golfing, or enjoying a good book.
Paying For Your Care
No Insurance
No Problem! We make care easy. We offer care plans and simple monthly payment plans so treatment is affordable.
Health Insurance / HAS
We’ll check your benefits and file claims for you. You’re responsible for any deductible, copay, coinsurance, or uncovered visits. For your convenience, all payment arrangements are made in advance.
Auto Injury
If your visit is related to a car crash, most auto claims cover chiropractic care. We just need the claim number, insurance info, and/or your attorney’s contact.
Work Injury
Work-related injuries are usually covered by workers’ comp for a set number of visits (typically 12–24). Bring your claim number and employer/adjuster info.
Medicare
Medicare pays for a maximum of 12 weeks of care. They have strict rules and limitations and do NOT cover all office services. When benefits are exhausted, you may qualify for a discounted self-pay rate.
VA (Veteran’s Administration)
We love helping our veterans. You will need a direct referral and authorization from the VA.
