First Visit

1. New Patient Forms

First, when you arrive to our chiropractic office in Charlotte, we’ll ask you to fill out our new patient intake forms. This paperwork provides us basic information about you, as well as your medical history and a description of your condition. You can fill these forms out ahead of time by going here.

2. Chiropractor Consultation

Next, you’ll meet with Dr. Jason Permenter and have a chance to explain exactly what is bothering you that would like us to help you with.   If  Dr. Permenter feels he can help you, and you are a candidate for chiropractic care in our office, he will explain any costs involved with moving forward to an examination and possibly digital x-rays. (Nothing is ever done in our office without you knowing exactly what it will cost first – no surprises ever)

3. Chiropractic Exam

After the consultation, Dr. Jason Permenter will perform a careful examination of your spine to determine which vertebrae are causing the problem. This is the most important part of your initial visit and Dr. Jason Permenter’s ability to find your problem is why so many people are referred to our office.

4. Digital X-Rays

Commonly Dr. Jason Permenter will take digital x-rays of the areas of the spine he will be working on.  This will allow him to see the underlying condition of the spine, the positioning of the bones,  as well as any permanent tissue damage and what we are up against.

5. Explanation of X-Rays

The digital x-rays come up instantly, which allows Dr. Jason Permenter to go over the findings with you on that first visit.

6. Chiropractic Treatment

Typically, at the end of that first visit, Dr. Jason Permenter will do some work on you to get you started and get a feel for your spine.  This is comfortable and easy and where Dr. Jason Permenter is able to see what type of adjusting will be most appropriate for your particular scenario.

7. Treatment Plan

Then, with all that information, he will put together a treatment plan based on your age, overall level of health, your history, exam findings, what your xrays or MRI’s say you need, along with the work and activities you do,  to get you the best results possible.  We will get you scheduled to come back the following day and Dr. Dr. Jason Permenter will explain the plan, and any costs inovlved, and we will get you started on your path to getting better!
